First Impressions

Upon arrival for this trip I had absolutely no idea what to expect.  How would Greece look?  What would the people be like?  How would I respond?  I can now say, I know the answer to all of these questions.  Athens is a much bigger city than I expected.  I can tell you that from both looking at it and walking around it for 3 hours.  As for the people, well, they have character.  Some are loud, boisterous, pushy, while others were just content to enjoy their evening stroll.  And my response, to walk with a purpose and take in the city.  Sometimes I uttered a very shaky Greek phrase, but for the most part, it was all I could do to take in the city and the people.
