People!

I echo Jessica's sentiment about losing a battle today, and mine was similar to hers.  Though my wash is fairly dry, and like Jessica's hanging from my room in various spots, I lost a battle with my carrying mechanism for my clothes, a large garbage bag.  In the midst of running up the street to another venue to watch our class movie, my clothes decided to make a dive for the street below.  The only casualty is a little dirt on my new pj's, a Christmas present.  Save the embarassment of having this happen, I am doing just dandy for today.  The walk to the top of the Acropolis hill was lovely.  The view from the top is totally fantastic and I even met some MORE of my Greek feline friends....crazy!  What an awesome to be a cat!  If I were a cat, I would love to live here.  It is hard to believe that we've been here 8 days already, it has gone fast, people!  ;) Just goes to show that life needs to be lived to the full every day I suppose!  Prof. Finitsis assured us that it would go very fast, but this is definitely the longest I've ever been out of Washington state, so I've had to balance that out.  As I mentioned in my entry the day we went to Delphi, though, I really am in love with this country now!  My goal is to get my mother here to experience Greece some summer so we can cruise the islands together.
