Slouvaki and strolling beneath the Acropolis

Anonymous HOW can it get much better than this?  Is the question I asked myself as the Acropolis shined above me as I walked among the many cafe's and bars of Athens.  Nighttime is a totally different first impression of Athens than when we first arrived this afternoon.  This afternooon we arrived to a gorgeous day, yes, but I think after our tour tonight I much prefer the nigttime side of Athens.  You never really know what you will see.  From making friends with the many stray dogs who roam the street to watching the changing of the guard at the Parliament building.  It has been an EXTREMELY long day for all of us, so I think it's time to catch some well deserved zz's!  All in all, a SWELL first day in Athens!
