I Can See Turkey From My House!

Anonymous Perhaps I should've requested Turkey as my next duty station. We can see it from our balcony in Rhodes and I can't help but imagine how coming back here would feel more like a weekend getaway than anything else. After a short flight we settled in our hotel which is right next to the ocean. Rhodes is a much different Greece than we've seen so far. While Athens is vibrant, what we've seen so far in Rhodes is quiet. During the high season I'm sure the town would be flooded with tourists, but right now it seems like we have to pick our times to find interaction with other people because of the time of year. Tonight is one of those times. Perhaps we will discover more of what Rhodes has to offer during the night.
