Let's do the time warp again and see if our calfs are GIGANTIC!

Yesterday we had an amazing trip to both an ancient monastery and to the temple at Delphi. Both were full of 1000+ year old aritcfacts and just amazing views from high in the Greek mountains. About midway into our trip, after walking only part way up the hill toward the temple of Apollo in Delphi, i noticed a burning sensation in my calf. This sensation still has not gone away, even through a good night s sleep. So does this imply that Greeks, in ancient times, always had shredded calfs? I only walked around the Delphi for a couple of hours and my calfs were on fire. I couldn't imagine having to walk all they way from Athens through the temple, up down through the mountain range.
This hypothesis was somewhat proven throughout the sculptures of man in the archeological museum at Delphi. There was not one sculpture of a person who did not have tone legs. Again, it is impossible for me to fathom the amount of walking the ancients did, and how ripped their legs and calfs must have looked.
