Live Free - Die Hard

"Do not fear death's decree for you;
remember those who went before
you and those who will come
after.
This is the Lord's decree for all flesh;
why then should you reject the will
of the Most High?
Whether life lasts for ten years or a
hundred or a thousand,
there are no questions asked in
Hades."
Sirach 41: 3-4

Some people believe in an afterlife, and some don't. Some call it "heaven" and "hell" while some believe we all disappear into an eternal abyss while some, just believe we die. The end. Some are absolutely certain on their positions. Ben Sira called it Hades, and the ancient Greeks believed that, "the souls of men live on". I've always been sort of wishy-washy on the whole afterlife bit. Sometimes I wonder how I would live my life differently if I believed in heaven and hell. Would I be more hopeful? Would I be more fearful? Would I be more careful of my words and thoughts and actions?
