I must say, it really doesn't feel like I've been here only one week. Our days have been packed with events, making one day seem like at least two. Each day in itself goes by like nothing, but when you look back at the end of the day, the activities in the morning seem like they happened the day before.
My laziness this morning caused me to wake up with just enough time to get dressed, eat, and walk out the door. I was so tired of getting up extra early to do other things before our meeting time, that I just parked myself in bed and refused to move until I absolutely had to. Let me just say, I am thankful I did that. When I finally woke up, I opened my shutters to a beautiful sunny day. After the couple days of rain and overcast, it was so wonderful to know that all I needed was a light jacket.
We only saw half of the museum and my feet were dead tired. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours, so you can kind of see why my feet would hurt. And you can also see that I was not the only one in my class that felt this way. Smile pretty guys :D

We got off the tram and immediately headed for the water, taking our shoes off to feel the sand, wade a little and take beachy pictures like the one you see beside this. We walked about and watched the beautiful sun set and then had an awesome dessert. Yes, we ate dessert first. :) After dessert, we took the long tram ride back to our apartments where we quickly grabbed jackets and headed off for a wonderful dinner with a view of the acropolis. Hannah and I shared crepes. Banana and chocolate crepes and chicken, ham, and cheese crepes. It was like having dessert twice with one dinner. So wonderful!
Riding the tram was nothing like I thought it would be, and seeing the coast was more spectacular than I ever could have imagined! I feel like I just condensed a very epic and full day, and I am really sorry. I wish I could embellish this more for you guys but it is late and I am going to a Greek Orthodox church in the morning so I would like to be well rested.
