Between Parkland and Pagkrati

So, today was a free day to explore the city and what we wanted until a class movie later in the afternoon. Well, thanks to being sick and jet lag, I slept the day away until about an hour before we had to meet for the movie. Unfortunately I slept hardly at all the whole time so I am still feeling the effects of jet lag now. Hopefully tonight I can actually get some sleep and finally overcome my sickness and jet lag.

Other than being completelt exhaused the day went well. We watched a movie which was pretty interesting and then went to this little tavern for dinner. The food was great! we had so much it was almost overwhelming. Truly a great atmosphere there barrels of wine on the walls, an old man playing guitar and singing Greek songs for us, wonderful food, Greek wine and great company and conversation. After dinner we went on another stroll through the city seeing the beautiful architecture of the buildings. It was great until we hit the stairs...about a thousand of them... but it was good in the end, got to see the place where we can take a cable car to one of the two large hills in the city that overlook the city and you can see all the way to the water...definitely will be going back, despite the stairs! and on the way back we passed the fashion district another must see for another day.

Now back in the appartments, about to fall asleep but excited to see what classes here have in store for us tomorrow. Hopefully jet lag wont overcome me again....
