I Can See Turkey from My House

The land mass across the way is Turkey
We arrived in Rhodes today, and guess what?  Turkey is right across the way!  If you're feeling particularly bionic, you could probably swim there.  It 's so beautiful here.  We are right along the coast, so stepping out onto the balcony of our room is like heaven.  This afternoon I took a wonderful nap with the sound of waves crashing back and forth outside my window.  Such a nice change from mope heads, horns, and sirens.

We walked though Old Town.  I went through a castle! It made me feel so regal.  Like I've actually been a princess before.  I could just imagine myself coming to a ball and dancing the night away in the prettiest gown.

I ate dinner with Dr. Finitsis' mom.  She doesn't speak a word of English but you just know that she is a complete and total mom.  Her expression shows so vividly and she just has the sweetest countenance.  She made a comment about me not finishing my plate.   Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh.  It's probably a good thing she doesn't see my eat at home. Then she would really be concerned.

I wish I had more for you guys today, but really that's about it.  It was just a lovely, slow, and peaceful day :)  Days like today make me wonder how I could ever go back to the hustle and bustle of my normal life.  What to do, what to do.
