Its all about the Free Day

Today I feel like I experienced the life of a Greek dog. Why? because it was our wonderful free day, to kick back relax, and enjoy a full day of Athens and all it has to offer. I started the morning slow by sleeping in. Then a good long sit at the cafe sipping greek coffee and as always great company and conversation with my roomates. We braced the windy weather and transportation system and we were rewarded with touring the Olympic Stadium. Even though the place is a little run down it was still great to see and take some nice pictures. Venturing around a new part of Athens was exciting as well, and especially by using the metro, tram, etc. to get around. We ate lunch at a beautiful place right on the water, I mean literally check out the picture.

Just like the dogs we were able to take our liesurely time basking in the sun, eating great food, getting free wine, talking and laughing; purely enjoying ourselves. And in case this wasn't chill enough, we went and had delicious dessert, with the best music to top it off. I can see why there are so many dogs wandering here, its a rough life............
